birth control

So lately my mom has been asking me if i’m sexually active and wants me on birth control. i told her i havent been having sex when i actually have bc it was just awkward. i really think the birth control is a good idea since the condom keeps breaking and stuff. and i don’t wanna straight up tell my mom that i’m having sex bc i’m afraid she’s just trynna get stuff outta me then she’s gonna get mad. i’ve considered going to the doctor and stuff but i don’t have money for it right now. what do i do
