So ladies, and the few gents on here..

I’ve been going through a very long divorce, it’s been a year(over a year) since I first filed for divorce in mid September of 2016. My husband has fought me every step of the way; that is until it was my half of the week to see the girls(I have two ages 6 and 2; also we split the week 50/50) I decided to take the kiddos to texas in April for a few days. He wasn’t complying with the court so my lawyer said to keep the kids and when we go to court we will go over custody. So fast forward to August we finally got our FIRST court date, he didn’t show up, his lawyer dropped him. Then mid September we had mediation, he didn’t show up for that either! Mad yet kinda relieved. Keep in mind he hasn’t seen the kids since the week before I took them to Texas, he had only called from may-August a handful of times, not one time requested to see them.. he calls me two weeks ago to see the girls, I agree; but I only agreed to 45 minutes, it was a Monday my oldest has school. This morning as I’m getting her ready, she’s is balling while trying to eat her breakfast. She finally blurts our “why doesn’t daddy love me, why doesn’t he want to see me?” How freaking heartbreaking!?! I pull myself together and hold her as tight as I could and reassured her that her dad loves her. And that he’s doing his best right now. Hopefully the last court date will be October 11th if he doesn’t show up to this one the judge will grant me relief. Really I’m just venting. Lol.
