So my husband and I have been talking about having a baby since early last year. I tried to surprise him and made an appointment to get it removed on 5/4/2017 & start trying, & surprise him when I got a positive test. I was in a car accident about a month later & when they asked (while he was sitting there) “Is there any chance of pregnancy?” I had to tell them yes, so surprise ruined. Well we have both been actively trying since. It is now October & I am starting to get discouraged. I have baby fever like crazy! How long did it take for anyone else to get pregnant when they had their IUD removed? I barely had it in for a year (implanted June 2016) & I was still having regular periods with it, they were light, but they came at the same time every month.
