Natural birthing techniques?

So I am having my baby in the hospital due to a heart condition I have that could complicate labor and delivery. 
I was curious however to see what natural birthing techniques there are so I can look into them and ask my doula and doctor. 
I am most interested in natural pain management techniques to reduce the amount of medication I might need. Any ideas?

We are taking a hypnobirthing class which has lots of good relaxation and breathing strategies. The doula who is teaching it also went through a bunch of comfort measures like different positions and light touch Massage. 
I highly recommend the book Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth - reading it made me excited to give birth and trust in the process and my body. 
Also for preparing - reading positive natural birth stories, visualizations and affirmations! (I am calm and at ease. My body knows exactly what it’s doing. Each surge brings my baby closer to me. Etc.)

Agree with above. I read a really great natural birth story and the woman had a fantastic perspective--usually more pain would be bad, but in labor, the more intense and closer contractions became, the closer you are to meeting your baby! She was actually happy (and totally relaxed, which I think is also key) when things for more painful because she was progressing!  She cheered when she puked because she knew she was getting closer to the end. I thought that was a great way to look at things. My plans for a natural birth are to get into a great mindset (and practice this ahead of time), breathing techniques, birth affirmations and make a great playlist. I'm also hiring a doula.

Hypnobirthing was great for getting myself in the right mindset for a drug-free birth with #1. Water, massage, music, various positions, breathing techniques are all good.

I had an amazing mostly natural birth for my first, I was induced at 39 weeks with high blood pressure & used gas&air; as pain relief. Birthing positions, movement & perineum stretches (prior to labor & delivery) worked great for me! Good luck!!
