Long term BC is terrifying!!

So as most of you probably know, there's a lot of risks with IUDs. I've seen a dozen horror stories on here, on top of the life altering bad experiences women in my family have had. So that's out of the question for me, and now I'm hearing bad things about nexplanon, the arm implant. Other than the shot (and tube tying of course) are there any other options for longer term? Something that isn't daily and works? What are your experiences?? I've been on the pill for almost a year without issues besides a few breakouts, but it just doesn't seem like enough. I know the Nuva ring isnt daily but it isn't my cup of tea either knowing 2 of my friends have conceived while using it! 😅😰
