So I just took this test not too long ago, and this picture was taken a few minutes after taking the test.

This is a First Response Early Response test that i popped out of the case to see it better. I know, you're not supposed to, but my eyes suck so I kind of have to, lol.

In August, I had a period on August 15th. Lasted 5 days and then again on the 23rd lasting 5 days. I took birth control prior to help with my cysts and got off of it before my period on the 15th, causing the double period. My periods usually start around the 15th ish, so I waited to start testing about a week before the 23rd. (Considering the double period). The 23rd came and went, so I figured we were pregnant! I started feeling extremely bloated and started getting headaches and my nipples hurt like hell. I continued to test with Dollar store tests up until my period finally started on the 29th of September. All negatives. I took a few internet cheapies at the start of my period just because I wasn't totally convinced because I never get PMS symptoms. So that was a little off for me. I accepted the period and quit testing for a few days. I took an internet cheapie this morning and it was a fat negative also. So I went to Target because I needed some things and picked up a FRER just for shits and giggles and also not being totally convinced. So I took this tonight. And within a minute or two, I got this second line.

I'm also not totally convinced now that I'm pregnant either because I literally just got off my period yesterday. How can that even be? Am I even pregnant? If I am, when did I ovulate, how far along am I? I plan to take another test in the morning to see if I get the same result.

But we have been TTC for about a year prior to the month I took the birth control and I've taken hundreds of pregnancy tests of different brands and never once did I have even a hint of a dark(er) line like this.

I'm just a little confused. I figured if I were actually pregnant I would have found out much earlier and definitely wouldn't have had a period.

Someone help lol. I never experienced this when I found out I was pregnant with my first child.

EDIT: YES I obviously know it's invalid now. I'm not going off the result I got AFTER taking it out of the case, I'm going off the result I got WHILE it was in the case.
