Strange dreams while pregnant?

Hey ladies! I've been having some of the craziest dreams during this pregnancy. Sometimes vividly good and sometimes vividly bad. The other night I dreamed that a snake climbed up my leg inside my dress and curled up around my belly, I was so afraid it would hurt my baby, so I asked my hubby (who is terrified of snakes) to reach in and grab it by the head to take it out, I felt around for its head and it bit me on the hand through my dress, then he grabbed it and saved me and our baby. Pretty weird stuff.

I remember having strange dreams with my daughter, but that was eight years ago and I don't remember having them until late in my pregnancy where as this time I'm only seven weeks along so far.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any idea what the reason behind this is? Anyone think there could be some deeper meaning behind their dreams?
