ovulation delayed after stillbirth?

I delivered my baby stillborn at 20 weeks on July 28th. I had my first period on September 13th. It was heavy but normal length. I started spotting a week ago and just stopped yesterday. I use to have 21 day cycles so I should start a period today but I didn't. Has another else noticed a delay in ovulation after their miscarriage or stillbirth? I've been so frustrated and down the past few days.

I gave birth to my daughter in March 2017 who unfortunately at 22 weeks passed away after 20 minutes and the hospital wouldnt intervene. My periods have been so irregular up to now, one month being a normal length the next every 2 weeks. Its so so frustrating each month not knowing whats going on and being so down when TTC isnt working.

First off I’m so sorry for your loss. I delivered my stillborn in December 2016 at 24 weeks. 
Second I didn’t ovulate until August this year and I got pregnant. My period used to be every 28days but those 8 months it was every 2 weeks or not at all. I went to my obgyn and she ran me for pcos. She did a papsmear and gave me birth control. Never did get to use it. 
I would definitely get an appointment with an obgyn and see what they say! Best of luck!
