Ten minutes late due to traffic in town, I walked in for my 20 week gender ultrasound. They told me they were on a tight schedule, and the tech couldnt see me. Their waiting room was empty and they made me reschedule for Friday. Oh and their waiting room was completely empty. I cried.

Could be that the waiting room was empty bc all the patients were being seen. It sucks but I guess you know to leave earlier next time. I’m the kind of person that feels like I’m late if I’m not at least 10 minutes early.

Most doctor's offices say to arrive early so in their eyes, you were probably 25 minutes late. But being late at all, I think is your fault and you can't be mad at them. They can't make another patient wait because they got off schedule because you arrived late. Sorry

I work at a doctors office. Their is tight schedules too keep. The waiting room may appear empty but if they took you and had another person on schedule it could mess up schedule for the whole day.

I was told by my doctor that if we are even 1 minute late they will move on to the next person and I’ll be rescheduled. So I would expect it 🤷‍♀️

the scan takes two hours. just because no one was in the waiting room doesn't mean there wasn't someone after you...

maybe for future appointments put it in your calendar for 30 min sooner than it actually is to prevent yourself from running late. I find that trick to be very helpful.

I would be disappointed and bummed out yes, but not mad. Sorry this happened! But it will all be okay

I bawled my eyes out when i missed my anatomy scan and had to wait another 3 weeks to get in. 
so i understand the angwr and tears but be happy its friday!
