We are renting a house for $1600 somehow when we came to check the house and talk to landowners we agreed for $1500 but some how the contract had $1600 but we continue with the lease for one year we been here for about 5 months we payed $400 to have to dogs here and well our AC broke down about 1 month from us being here but landowner said the dogs chewed the cords up and we have sprinklers in the back where the holes are not even an inch dig inside and I guess again our dogs got ahold of it and chewed it up on Saturday I keep hearing my dogs bark but payed no attention because I was busy getting everything ready for my son Football game and when I open the garage the owner was at the next house he also owns and was looking over to our backyard and taking pictures and today I heard our dogs going crazy barking again and I go to the back to check and again I caught the owner looking at our back yard and he was mad saying to look at the holes and water pouring out what our dogs did again. So I put the dogs back inside and when I go outside the water was out we had turn the sprinklers out because my fiancé was going to fix it but the landlord without announcing he would be here to try to fix anything or check I felt like he turn the sprinklers on to check. I guess my question is even though I understand this is his property and he is mad over a valid reason the dogs are destroying property but isn't he invading our privacy?? Doesn't he need to announce he will be trying to check the house before trying to snap pictures when we are not around.
