Is she too tall for her car seat?

Question

Her feet touch the seat but she's still under the weight requirement for a bigger one. So I'm not sure if we should get her a new one. 
Any input is great. Thanks! 😀

Kids can safely sit cross legged in car seats.
The most important thing is that she remain rear facing as long as possible.
Make sure her head doesn’t come up higher that 1” below the top of the headrest.  But on the feet end- there’s no requirement.

My pediatrician said it's their head not their feet. If their head is beyond the headrest then it's too small

If she’s under the weight limit then she’s fine. If you feel like she’s outgrown it you can get her a reversible one that can do back and forward facing when she’s older. It’s personal preference as long as she meets the weight requirements.

When my daughters legs came out of her car seat my hubby had to tell me it was time for a new one.

As long as she doesn’t surpass the length requirement for the seat, she’s fine. Are you saying she isn’t heavy enough yet for a convertible car seat?
