Will I still get pregnant?

I've just started on birth control, specifically the patch. I want to know if I will be okay still using the withdraw method because the entire reason I got bc was because my SO and I don't like condoms.

I got pregnant on the patch. Changed it when I was supposed to and everything. It can happen, so I would use the pull out along with it. I loved the patch though... Best thing ever.

I was on the patch as well and used that method But Im not trying to conceive as of now, but I think if you stop using it then yes you can become pregnant

It should be OK as long as you wait the first 2-4 weeks after starting it before that time period is up I suggest use a back up plan....I would say pulling out was fine but I got pregnant eventually using it Lol sooo use a condom ;-)

Hormonal birth control is meant to stop ovulation so you won't have a fertile window anymore and it's 99.9% effective when used perfectly. Read the instructions that came with the patch, they will tell you how long to use back up protection for when you start and list things that can lower the effectiveness.

I always waited a week but I think even the first month you are supposed to use another method because your body is adjusting to getting the hormones. I would google it. Or read the info packet that came with your bc.
