1st birthday party ?

Iliana is turning 1 on the 17 so soon I'm still debating if I should throw a party for her or just cut her a cake on the day of her birthday. What are you doing for your little ones ?

We had a few people over to our place and had hamburgers and cake. Nothing too big and she enjoyed it.

Birthday buddies!!!
My son is turning one on the 17th too. We moved to a another state 7 months ago and we don't have family or friends here  so it will just be four people. But it's my sons first birthday and I want to make it special. He will have balloons and we are decorating his highchair he will have two cakes one small cake just for him with a big #1 on top so he can eat or destroy do as he pleases and one for the adults.

Our little guy turns one in a couple of days and we're just having a few people over for cup cakes and presents and then we're going to play fun kid games for the adults. We went a little over board with presents (there were so many different toys we've been wanting to get!) so we're not paying for a big party. I did get a few decorations though :) No big party though and no other kids. Lots of time for that when he's older.

we made a Facebook invite for our closest friends and family.  in total, there will be 23 people,  including my husband myself and our daughter. the theme is minie mouse. we bought a minnie cake to accommodate 23 people. skipping the smash cake, because i don't see how a 1 year old needs to dig into that much sugar. we got minnie decorations and minnie balloons. party is from 3 to 6 pm.

I have a big Italian family and this is our first. We're throwing a decent sized Shindig haha. She only turns one once 😁
