I have been thinking about this alot lately, I don't personally smoke but I was wondering what everyone's views were on the topic.

Yes. Second hand is just the same as smoking right from the cigarette. It should be illegal to smoke around anyone without asking. You are forcing toxins into their system. 
I told my parents this and my uncle who is a heavy smoker. My parents stopped smoking 100%. My uncle couldn't stop and got the vape which still helps. 
Educate your family/friends about it, they are bound to change their ways.

Not outdoors or within a few feet of a child outdoors, but everywhere that will cause them to breathe in second hand smoke yes.

There’s actually a law in my area where if you’re seen smoking in the car with anyone underage you can get a ticket. But other than that, it should be punishable, I was hooked up to breathing machines and everything when I was 2 because I had an asthma attack from everyone in my family smoking around me, and after that they still continued to do it. If you want to smoke, go somewhere alone or something, not everyone else wants to damage their lungs. Specially children who can’t even speak up about it.

Yes! And I am an occasional smoker but I would never dare light up with my child in the car or anywhere near me. If we do smoke (maybe one night a week) its long after he's in bed and I shower in the morning before I wake him.

I think so. I also think it should be illegal to smoke while pregnant and in public spaces where children should be expected. I'm really bias, though, because I hate cigarettes and I'm pregnant and hate being subject to other people's smoke.

You can’t smoke in a car with anyone younger than 16 where I live but I’ve never seen it enforced

100%. My mom smoke around me all the time and it made me so sick as a kid. She didn’t care. She would smoke in the car too.
