ttc missed period

we have been ttc for about 5months or so. I stopped my bc about 9 months ago to get it out of my system. I have tracked my period religiously over the last few months and it has been 34 days. I was supposed to get my period last weekend and still nothing has come. I took a test this morning and it was negative. any suggestions or input as to what is going on? thanks!
