When will labor start

Question

Went to doc everything is good im 1cm still now 50% effaced  and her position is -2 so how long do u think itll be till im in labor? Im 37w5d

I've been at 80% thinning & 3cm for the past 5 days (I'm at 39weeks + 4 days). Doc was hopeful that baby would arrive this week but so far no sign :( doc had suggested sweeping of the membranes. This usually leads to labor within 48 hrs.

You can be up to like 3 cm dilated for months. It's not a true indicator and there's no timeline
