I plan on breastfeeding my son when he’s born and I’ve been researching types of birth control that seem to work for me.

Before pregnancy I used the patch - loved it but it’s not good for breastfeeding moms. A friend suggested the minipill but I’m extremely concerned about being able to take the pill on time daily. So I have been looking into the shot and it seems like it could work for me.

What do you guys think between the two? Side effects of either one you’ve had personally? I’m worried about gaining weight with the shot tbh.
