Yes of course. You just have to learn to manage your symptoms. I’m becoming a social worker and I have borderline personality disorder. You just have to work on levelling yourself out.

Just want to say that I'm a teacher and I suffer from anxiety and although my students don't know I found it actually helps me connect with students who are suffering with mental illness or even just be more compassionate towards students who are having a bad day. Your struggles make you more aware of others who are struggling... I'd argue that you'll be an even better teacher because of it 💕

mental illness does not stop you from being an amazing teacher. this makes me so sad to read this and know that you feel that way :( but your aware and that is important. like the person below said yes manage your symptoms. but it’s your mind and no one else should know / judge you for having bi polar. as long as you can handle it , you can do anything babe i promise 💜 i’m cheering for you ! bi polar is one of the hardest things to deal with but keep chasing your goals and nothing can stop you
