So about a week ago I went in to the hospital for severe abdominal pain and cramping. They said I had dilated to a 1 and made me wait there for an hour the nurse came back and checked me again and I was at a 2 . They decided to do magnesium Iv and steroid shots . After being in the hospital for 3 days and being watched my contractions stopped and I was allowed to go home . Literally 3 days after that I was back in the hospital AGAIN for the same thing and dilated to a three .. they said there wasn't really anything they could do because they had already given me the medicine that would help if she was born early . So they sent me home again and told me to come back for regular contractions , leaking etc ... so 3 days after this was yesterday ... and I had the most awful contractions and decided to go in again because I didn't know what else to do ... I ended up dilating to a 4 last night and was 50% effaced ... now at home .... again and having the same contractions ..... I know I'm not being over dramatic because there is change in my cervix each time I go . I'm 35 weeks now .... how many times am I gonna get sent home ? Has anyone else gone through this ? What was your outcome did they just keep telling you to come back???? I'm so frustrated and In pain almost constantly with medicine .....
