How does the whole IUI process work. ?

Even tho the doctor explained it, I would love to hear some of the experiences you ladies had .

Answer

I'm starting my 2nd round of IUI. after you get all your blood work done and do a hsg test then they will have you wait till your next period and between the 1st and 3rd day they will have you come in and get a vaginal ultrasound. then they will give you the meds they want you to take ( which mind is 5 days of clomid 2 tablets a day then menopur shot on the 6th day) then you go back in when they tell you and do another ultrasound to check your eggs and see if they are a good size and are ready to drop. then you will give yourself the HCG shot either there or at home that night. then 2 to 3 days later you have the option to do insemination or just intercourse it is up to you (I do both) and then you have the long dreaded 2ww and you take a pregnancy test and hope it is positive.. my first round was negative so I'm starting my 2nd today!!! hope this helps! also just remain relaxed and let everything happen the way it is suppose to so you don't stress yourself out!!
