midwife?

does anyone on long island N.Y. know of any midwives who take Medicaid and do home births? I tried looking during my first pregnancy but I couldn't find one Medicaid covered but I'm finding it hard to believe that they don't exist here I want all the help I can in finding one I want this so badly for this pregnancy I would hate to have to give up so easily. this is top priority home birth midwife but if worst comes to worst then I would like someone to refer me to a good doula if I must have a hospital birth. a medium option would be a birthing center who takes Medicaid.
