We recently got engaged and were invited to my FIL and StepMIL's for dinner. She asked me if I would be having a bridal shower/hens party I said "probably, I imagine my friends/bridesmaids will organise something". She had a big excited grin on her face and said "Oooh count me in!!" To which I just laughed a little nervously 😬

I can handle her I get small doses. I'm always very nice to her but honestly can't stand most of the things that come out of her mouth. I would describe her as... low key racist, very negative and Judgemental. So there's no way I want her partying with my friends and I, she'd probably have a heart attack and be horrified with what my friends would have planned anyway 😂

How do I get around not inviting her without offending her?
