period blood?

hey girls! so, i started taking the pill about 6 months ago and i've noticed since i started that my periods are very short (1-2 3 days at  max) and my period blood isnt even red. its really dark brown and super thick. is this normal?

Yeah it's definitely normal. To be honest, the "period" you get when you are on the pill isn't even a real period. Which is why it helps people with horrible and heavy periods. The bleeding that happens monthly on the pill is usually just your body reacting to not being on the medication... If that makes any sense.

Mine were the same way. Before I started the pill, it was 7 days, very heavy and red and super bad cramps. I started the pill, 3 days, light and brown and hardly any cramping. Made me wish I would have started the pill a lot sooner.
