Flu shot? Or not?

Been reading all sorts of pros and cons of a flu shot while pregnant. Recommend or not? (35 weeks)

Nope, don't normally get it and didn't with my other child. Doctor said it isn't necessary. She said same for the tdap shot which I've never recieved being pregnant before

I got mine this week, no issues! Pregnant women have a hire chance of suffering life threatening complications. So do asthmatics, and since I’m a pregnant asthmatic it’s the safest choice for me. Plus my doctor told me it will pass some immunity on to my little guy. Since he’ll be here during the fall/winter I figured it was best to set him up to be as healthy as possible.

Yep, definitely a good idea to get it. Protects a baby being born near the height of flu season!

I've never gotten the flu shot growing up or as an adult. My doctor hasn't even asked me about it. So I don't plan on getting it.

I got mine two weeks ago and I’ve had no symptoms. My doctor likes all her patients to get it because babies don’t have a strong immune system.

I did the tdap shot, didn't do the flu shot (I never get the flu or the shot, and I'm already on leave, so my doc said it's not a worry.)
