I’m 14 and I’m very mature. I want to move to Florida with my mom because I feel very stuck where I am now and my boyfriend who moved a year ago is in Florida. So I thought, why not kill two birds with one stone, have a new experience, and be with the person I love. The problem is is my dad. My parents are divorced... I told my dad tonight what I had been thinking and it was interesting.. am I wrong for wanting a new experience and wanting new friends? Even if it means leaving my dad behind for a few years? I know it’s selfish and I know it’s crazy.. but I don’t want to be sad for the last three years I’m still a kid.. and this is me trying to take control over it. I just don’t know what to do now that I know how my dad feels about it all. What do you guys think?
