Would you wait to find out baby’s gender until the day of birth?

My fiancé doesn’t want to find out until the day the baby is born, is that lame? I personally find it exciting! But that means I can’t buy anything for a gender. All unisex clothes... I’m in between this.

Why would it be lame? and who cares about what people think of that. I've been told how exciting and special it is to find out during delivery. If that's what you decide to do as a couple, then it shouldn't matter what other people think. It's how everybody used to do it and there's nothing wrong with keeping it a surprise!

We didn't find out until birth with #1 last year and are doing the same with #2. People keep saying 'You must be dying to find out after last time' or 'I'd HAVE to find out this time'...why? We're just pretty laid back and it's not really important to us. As long as the scans are healthy we're happy. In the same way people say they don't understand how we could NOT find out, we don't understand how people could be so desperate to not wait a few months.
