Why is my belly so little?!?!

My son is due May 25th. I went to the doctor Tuesday, and she said I should expect him in 2-3 weeks. I am SO excited. But I am scared and nervous. The doctor felt and said I'm dilated a half a centimeter and the babies head is RIGHT there, she could feel him.

Anyway. I feel like I have such a small belly. Im scared he isn't grown fully. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday to make sure he is doing alright. 
He moves around A LOT. And his heartbeat is nice and strong.
I'm just worried...

Don't worry everyone carries differently! Everyone tells me my belly is still so small. I'm 36 weeks and my baby is a little bit small but still weighs around 5 lbs 3 oz. So I'm thinking she will weigh between 6-7lbs. As long as they are healthy it's okay! Some babies are just a little small!

Don't worry. 2-3 weeks at this point means he's still gonna grow a lot. I was 50% effaced at 35 & 36 weeks, not dilated. Now 70% effaced, half a centimeter dilated at 37 weeks, and he's been head down for a while, now at station -3.

It's all about your body shape. I'm not that big either, but I'm also 5'8 with a longer torso so there's more room for baby to grow. My doctor has me do another ultrasound to measure the baby just in case and it was growing at a normal rate. Just be happy that you're small...my friends who are running larger are pretty miserable right now

You look great. If the doctor and u/s say your baby is the right size then that's fantastic and you just get to count yourself super lucky that you didn't feel enormous for months on end. Mine is fairly small too but doctor says baby is doing just fine and growing normally, I just have to chalk it up to having a super long torso and strong ab muscles.

I'm sure he is fine, my baby is small but I'm small so as long as he is healthy in every other aspect he will be fine. I'm also due in 2-3 weeks

You do look great! If everything turns out okay ( right size) feel lucky. I am absolutely miserable with my huge belly. In 38 + 4 and swelling so badly ( being induced Tuesday because of it and fear of preeclampsia starting)

This is a model named Sarah Stage and She was 9 months pregnant in this photo and she didn't even look pregnant. But her baby boy was born weighing 8lbs and perfectly healthy! so the size of your stomach has nothing to do with the size of your baby or health of your baby. Every one carries differently

In the same boat, pretty small for nearly 37 weeks. There isn't really much you can do about it. Some of us just carry small. It's probably way more comfortable and it'll be less to load afterwards!
