Tuesday night I was in L&D; for strong cramping and contractions 2-3 mins apart. When I first got in I was closed, but when they checked about an hour later I was dilated to a .5 and so they gave me a shot to stop contractions and relax my uterus. Contractions spread apart but never stopped, but they sent me home. All day Wednesday and Thursday I was in so much pain and having contractions so I went into my doctors office and she said baby boys head is VERY low and I was now dilated to about 1.5 cm and my cervix was soft. Since my daughter was 5 weeks premature she sent me to L&D; to be monitored and receive a steroid shot. I have to go back today to get my second shot and went to the bathroom now my mucus plug is coming out (happened two days before my water broke with my daughter). Has anyone else gone through this? I want baby boy to stay in as long as possible so he is as developed as possible but I’m so uncomfortable and miserable and just keep getting sent back and forth😩
