Was told I was miscarrying, but nothing is happening.

Wednesday morning I went in for my first ultrasound. From my last period I was around 10w3d. Ultrasound showed no blood flow to the baby, no heartbeat and the growth of the baby to be around 6w5d. I was told I will be miscarrying, but they are doing blood work just to make sure my hcg levels are going down. Honestly I hold no hope for there to be a chance and I just wish I knew what will come next. This is such a surreal feeling. Shouldn't my body be going through the process by now? Does it hurt? Is there a possibility my body won't shed naturally and I'll need a D&C;? I feel numb and I'm just hoping I can get back to a good place. Thanks everyone! ❤️
