Boss rant
Yesterday was my first day back to work. My boss comes in and says, "how's the baby? Etc..." Then asks, "is he a good baby?". I said, "well, he's my little angel!" with a laugh. She asks , "how much does he sleep at night?", and I say, "three hours, then gets up to feed. I do about two feelings a night". Then she gets this disgusted look on her face and says, "that's a bad baby!".
OK!! First of all, I HATE when people judge a baby by how much they cry. That's how they COMMUNICATE! And what about the babies born with medical issues, or ones that just simply cry a lot? I bet moms would NEVER say they have a "bad" baby because they cry! [for the record, my baby doesn't even cry to eat at night. He just stirrs and sucks his hands which wakes me up and, BAM! I'm there with food]
Can we change this "good/bad" baby thing? Sorry, my son doesn't have a moral compass yet. He doesn't know right from wrong and cannot be "bad" even if he tried!! 😡
