FTM. My baby girl is 1 month old and is very gassy. Strictly breastfed. I’ve been giving her gripe water and gas relief. I asked her pediatrician Wednesday if there’s a possibility she could be constipated and she said as long as the baby poops every few days, there’s not really a chance she could be constipated as breastfed babies absorb all the nutrients so it takes a while for stuff to build up to be expelled.

Anyways, the gas is so bad she’ll wake up from a nap crying and moving, pulling her legs up and then kicking out. After she passes the gas, she goes back to sleep. Is it something I’m eating that could be causing her to have this much gas or is it kinda normal??
