I’m not sure!

So my husband and I have been trying to conceive for a few months now. My period is a little irregular, last month my cycle was 39 days long. I’m on day 36 now and I took an “hcg” test strip and there is a faint line, I’m not sure if it’s just the test strips themselves .. any thoughts?
