Anyone taking promethazine for nausea?

yes but i only take half a pill. it works like magic

I took it one day and 5 mins later was vomiting and dry heaving the rest of the day. My stomach was probably too empty to take it but after that, I did not try it again. Dr switched me to zofran and it is working so great.

I’m taking it right now. It’s fine. I haven’t had any problems. My only complaint is it drains me of what little energy I have.

Its safe in the first trimester my doc just prescribed it for me today and i took it 2 years ago with my first pregnancy. They dont want you taking it in the 3rd trimester bc it could cause bleeding in the newborn.
