Spotting for a week

Is it normal to spot for a week, once a day around the same time and with really minor cramps? i want to say it's implantation bleeding but to what I have read that's only supposed to be for two days. Don't know if I should consider it as my period. I actually started spotting the day I was supposed to have my period, but it's nothing like my normal period.
