She is in love with me she text / calls me daily / weekly compliments me more than my boyfriend has me on most of my social media and likes all my posts talks about me to him and family all the time asks when are we planning to have a child she wants a grandchild don't get me wrong i would love that but we only been together 4 months it's off-putting i don't know how to tell my boyfriend without it affecting our relationship and my relationship with his mother but I'm young still ( 19 ) and have my whole life ahead of me and he is 23 should I just not say anything I just feel she making it seem we moving to fast when we're not it's just her .

She’s likely just excited that her son is with a girl she likes so much and can see him having a future with. I totally see how she’s going overboard especially after only 4 months and you have every right to be a little overwhelmed. But if y’all can communicate like adults without him overreacting, just let him know that you’re so happy she likes you and you like her too and enjoy the family but she’s being a little too overbearing and see if maybe he can talk to her. Ask how he feels about it and if he agrees that it’s a little weird how crazy she is about you then see if he can maybe tell her, hey mom you’re being really sweet but you’re also being a little intense.. see if she’ll bring it down a few notches. My mother in law is really great and not that crazy but she does text/call me from time to time, make baby comments, and comment on a lot of my social media. That’s just a part of having a significant other with involved family - hope it gets better for you!

I don’t know her or the situation...but she kind of sounds like a narcissist. My mother-in-law was the same way when I started dating my husband, and she was just trying to get a grandchild out of it. It’s very off putting. Definitely stay aware of her motives.
7 years into my relationship with him we had our first daughter, and the woman tried to literally steal her from us. We have since cut contact with her completely, woman is a complete psychopath.

I find that off putting....true, it's nice to be accepted by the mother, but she's a little bit too excited. Try to focus more on your relationship with him at this point if you can. Ignore how over the top she is and see if he's going to be a good man for you. Then if you guys do end up married, it wasn't because of her.
