It’s a personal choice. My husband and I opted to start with the none invasive tests, which are absolutely not harmful to the baby and have 98-99% accuracy. So, I do my nt u/s on the 26th and the harmony blood test on the 16th. If anything negative turns out from those, we will cross that bridge once we get to the river. As much as we don’t care for the gender, we want to know wether or not our baby is healthy.

There needs to be some context to this. Obviously you don't just get this done for no reason. If there's some things coming up in bloodwork or ultrasounds and you need to know something about the baby, then it depends on what that is. Like if there is something seriously wrong then it makes sense to do it.

No honestly if there is going to be something wrong with my baby its going to be wrong with or with out the test!
