Why did my period get longer???

So last months’ period I masturbated on what should’ve been the last day. But after masturbating, my period lasted 3 days longer. (normally 5 days long) Now my period lasts 8 days long. Will it go back to normal if I stop masturbating??

Masturbating has nothing to do with the length of your period. It probably was just a coincidence. We can have longer periods if we are stressed, sick, ill, taking medication, changing diets, etc. And I'm too of that it's normal for every period to be different until you are in your mid to late twenties just because your body is still developing and changing.
