When did you stop progesterone suppositories?

I am 10w5d and i am still doing the progesterone suppositories 2 times a day. I conveived with iui so I have been taking these pills for quite a while. when did you stop taking the suppositories? and how much did you take? im on 400mg a day. wondering if i should cut down to only 1 a day

I'm on a 200mg pill at night and I'm so over taking it! Before I knew I was pregnant I went to a nurse practitioner that specialized in hormone therapy and she said my progesterone levels were low (6) which turned out to be 3 weeks pregnant. Once I got a positive test I had them run levels again and my progesterone was 16 on my own. Dr. Said I can take the supplements till the 8 week scan which I elected to do but now I regret it bc I am getting dizzy and hot flashes at night. Now I'm afraid to stop so I feel stuck? Only have been on them for about a week. Thoughts?

I had to do the progesterone injections till 10 weeks which was infuriating. My injection time was 6PM so we managed to have no life for the 8 weeks that I had been doing the injections. We conceived via IVF.

My Dr said 12 weeks because that's when the placenta is fully functional and will produce progesterone instead of your body having to produce it. But definitely worth a call to the nurse at your dr office.

I am taking 2 pills, 3 times a day (every 8 hours) and I got pregnant with IVF. I was told to continue taking them until I am 10 weeks.

I was on 600/day (ivf pregnancy) but tapered off at 8w, was done at 10w.
