Should you be required to have your driver's license before you can drive an ATV?

I thought this was already a law but I see children as young as 4 riding them sometimes. What do you think?

On your own property, do what you want. But on public roads you should have a license. I think thats already law, though.

When I was growing up, I had a quad bike. 
We were allowed to use it in parks. But to use it on the road you had to be legally licensed and old enough to drive.

No, us country people have been riding them since we were kids. Just because some people are stupid and irresponsible, doesn't mean all of us are.

My son has been riding this one since he was four. It's not a "real" atv but he is learning about driving on this one until he is ready for the next step up. Maybe a smaller atv if I think he is ready for it and will drive responsibly. & Always under adult supervision.

I think four is too young to be driving a full sized atv alone but ok with a RESPONSIBLE adult. And helmets are a necessity at any age in my opinion.

I’ve had one since I was ten. Of course we only ride it out bush (only on quiet roads when absolutely necessary) and we always had parents with us. Kids can get really small quad bikes, ones that don’t go very fast either, I don’t see the issue as long as they’re in full gear and know what they’re doing.

Nah. You can't drive them on the roads around here anyway. At least, you aren't supposed to. I was driving one myself by age 8.

I see that all the time here, too.I think it is a little bit ridiculous for a 4 year old to be driving one. I think it would be better to have that then to have kids getting hurt on them because their parents weren't watching them on it. Adult supervision though is different. Idk where I stand.

Nahh, my son got his first 4wheeler at the age of 4. It's not like he was riding it on the road. We made a track in our fiend that he would lap.

Idk if it's true or not but, I was told you can't drive them until 12 years old or up.
