For second (third/fourth) time moms: how long after baby dropped into your pelvis did you end up going into labor? My boy is for sure in my pelvis now. Had cramping and contracting and mucous discharge last night. On and off steady kind of sporadic though. Called the midwife and she said to just keep an eye out. Today he is definitely lower than he was yesterday (I could feel him dropping all day). I had a small gush of blood Thursday and went to the dr and found out I was 1.5 cm dilated and cervix is soft AND baby’s head was right there. So I’m just curious if dropping into position means baby could be here soon.

I feel like I’m all over the place so I’ll make a little timeline:

Thursday: gush of blood, got checked and found out my cervix is soft and soft 1.5 cm dilated. Also had a NST to be safe everything was fine.

Saturday: intense cramping started around 3:15pm and I could feel him getting lower into my pelvis all day. Had cramping and contractions then decided to call the dr around 8:15pm.

Today (Sunday): he is definitely lower than when I went to bed last night. Slight cramping randomly.
