I Need Help!

Hey, I’m a first time user of a menstraul cup. I was wondering how do you know if you put the cup in properly? If you feel the stem poking you, is that a bad sign? I followed the instructions that came with my cup and boiled it with the storage case it came with. I just put the cup in when I was in the shower about 30 minutes ago and I’m worried. I watched videos before I bought the cup and before I put it in. I did the “C” shape thing so the cup can go in easier, but I feel like I messed it up.
