i’m 16 and still a virgin... haven’t even had my first kiss. is this normal? because all of my friends have def had their first kiss and most aren’t virgins... i just don’t wanna be embarrassed when the time comes.

Don’t worry about it,  I didn’t have my first kiss, my first date or lose my virginity until I was 24 and it was well worth the wait. My boyfriend is the sweetest and kindest guy I’ve ever met. When it’s right you’ll know it, don’t feel pressured or weird just because everyone else has.

Yes, yes yes yes you are entirely normal. I'm 19 now, and felt exactly how you are when I was 16. I just wanted someone to tell me it was okay, even if I didn't believe them. It is so normal and okay to not have had your first kiss yet. You will get there and you will be glad you did not waste it earlier (though my first kiss was still pretty damn cringey)😅. And after it happens, you'll realize that you shouldn't have been making it the big deal that it was in your head. Once I got to college and talked to new people, it turned out that a lot of them did not have their's before 17, and that some still hadn't then. You got this. You are beautiful and amazing and will be happy you did not rush into your first kiss because it will be worth waiting a little bit longer. Firsts are important. Just make sure you are ready and that YOU truly want that kiss, or whatever else it may be. Don't let peer pressure make you feel like any kind of failure or lesser person. Everyone has their own experiences and they are going to happen at different times. Whatever it is that makes you, you, is what really matters. Not the age at which you had that first kiss. ❤️
