IUD or Implant???

Question

Had to stop taking the pill due to blood pressure concerns.  I need a new method besides relying on condoms and withdrawal method. That makes me too nervous.  
I am thinking Nexplanon but only because it kinda creeps me out to have something inserted in my uterus.  I know very little about any of them but I need something to not only prevent pregnancy the most effective but to control my period some too. I have horrible symptoms now without being on anything and that's one of the reasons I started on the pill at 14.  Would love to hear from all you girls on Nexplanon vs. Skyla vs. Mirena. Or other suggestions.

I had the implant and will be getting it again. I don’t like the idea of having anything placed in my uterus either, plus I’d be paranoid of it moving out of place/falling out without me knowing.

Had the mirena for just over two years, the only good thing was no periods. Ended up with a massive cyst on one ovary, and having surgery that went wrong to remove it (very nearly died). Had awful mood swings, like a flick of a switch i could go from happy to psycho. 
Had the nexplanon for a month now, so far so good. No mood swings, or anything! Can't comment on the period side of things yet.

I usually never comment on posts on here, but this is a serious one for me. I just had to have my IUD removed because of the pain it was putting me in. My aunt had the same one that I had & she had to have emergency surgery the day before I got mine removed because she found out she was pregnant. The bad thing about the Copper IUD is that if you get pregnant & decide to keep the IUD, you lose the baby; if you decide to have the IUD removed, there's like a 99.9% of you still losing the baby, which is what happened to my Aunt.. 
I personally wouldn't recommend the IUD to anyone..
