Formula fed babies

My 4 week old baby boy is already on 5 ounce feeds and now he's still hungry and looking like he wants more... Anyone know if I should give him more or would that be over feeding him? ( the time says 4 ounces for a 4 week old)

5ounces is fine. :). I would be reluctant to be giving him much more but he may be having a growth spurt so make 6oz bottles and if he wants a little extra he can have it, he may only want even a half ounce if that.

My girls 4oz every 3 hours she's 4 weeks but she does go 6 hours at nighttime. Sounds a bit like reflux, I think she has it a little too!

He's feeding every 3 hours day and night, it's exhausting! I think I will stick to 5 for now because when he has more he just spits it back up again so could be reflux, thanks for the advice

Also how often is he feeding? My 4 week old takes 4.5ounces ever 3 hours, every 6 at night.

Also are you sure he's wanting more or does he maybe have reflux? It could be that he's having heartburn after his feeds?
