Make up for C Section?!

I’ve been told no by both my doctor and cesarean instructions given by the hospital. 
I looked into it, and I guess it has something to do with the tone of your skin. Basically if something is wrong, your skin tone may go pale and wearing makeup might make it hard for nurses to determine if this is the case. This is what I read online at least so I’m not sure how accurate it is but it does make a bit of sense. It’s similar to why they don’t want you wearing nail polish. 
I also saw something about wearing mascara and eye makeup... if something is wrong and they have to put you under, the nurses will tape your eyelids shut. Eye makeup may make it challenging to do so. 
I’m likely gonna wear light B.B. cream tbh but that’s it.

I never thought about not wearing any to the hospital. I was going to do a lighter look my powder and a nude eyeshadow and stuff. Just to feel put together. The hospital has so many skin cleaning stuff I would just mention oh I put some powder on so if you need a clean face for some reason go ahead. 👍🏻😉💄💁🏻

I'm having a c section And haven't been told by my doctor or the hospital that I couldn't wear makeup. I'm not going to and that's just a personal preference. The nail polish thing is because the O2 monitor that the put on your finger sometimes is hard to read through dark polishes and gel polish but it can be done I work in the ER so I've seen nurses work around the polish.
