Ttc with suspected pcos

Hi ladies i was wondering if anyone had had any experience similar to mine. I conceived my daughter 12 years ago and my son 9 years ago very easily (first month ttc) however recently my periods have become erratic in that my cycle varies from 23-31 days. My doctor suspects pcos and j am awaiting a scan. My dh has recently had a vasectomy reversal and we need to wait until December to see if it has worked 😫.

However if it has my doctor will refer me to fertility clinic. I am using ovulation sticks two different brands one only showing control line and other showing faint line. According to this app I should be ovulating Wednesday and I have light cramps today. My cycle was always 28 days without fail and I'm finding it heartbreaking and almost obsessive about the fact that I might not be ovulating now that we want another baby. My doctor says my body is a bit backward as I have recently lost 3 stone in weight and it my cycles were bang on until 5 months ago. I'm confused as to is this really pcos? Or is my body just changing at the moment.. I have very little patience in waiting etc and would be grateful to hear if anyone had had similar experiences. Tia
