Anyone else diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder?

I have been diagnosed about 2 weeks ago and still feel really disconnected about it. Almost like "I can't be that sick, right?". I have been prescribed medications and will be starting therapy soon, but I feel really alone in all this.

I have been with it for 11 years now and other disorders with it as well, there are a ton of ways to help cope and live a beautiful happy life. I was on medication for 10 years and have recently gotten pregnant, so I decided it was time to get off of them and put my coping skills to work. Everything will be okay 😀🤓

I was diagnosed 16 years ago and have been getting maintaining therapy off and on since. I've been through it all, addictions, doctors, being over medicated, being sent to a therapeutic school and finding the treatments that work for me. I'm an open book so please feel free to ask any questions you have!

yes. diagnosed when I was 18. symptoms started when I was 11. not on any meds. refuse to take them so I am watched constantly by my family. it's livable if you accept it and know what your triggers are and how to come back from that.
