contractions..or not??

these contraction/ pains are soo confusing! I had like menstrual cramps that kept getting more and more intense last night for about 3 hours. they were more on my lower back and felt so much pressure. I thought for sure something was happening then all of a sudden it stopped. I haven't lost my mucus plug. in 39 weeks and 50% affaced...I'm soo confused.

Remember true labor contractions don’t stop from change. When you get any type of contractions, you need to switch up what you are doing. If you’re lying down or sitting get up and walk around and vice versa. Also make sure you intake a good amount of water. Braxton Hicks are usually due to dehydration. Even though it sounds counterproductive, drink water every time after you pee, especially overnight. Good luck! 🍀👍🏻
