Should you get a flu shot if you're trying to conceive or may be pregnant?

I am planning on getting my flu shot. My baby will be born in January and I want him to be getting the antibodies from my blood and also my milk once he’s born :)

I had the flu shot and found out 3 days later that I was pregnant. My doctor said it's fine and they recommend that pregnant women get it.
