Cloth diapers ?

I'm a first time mom and I was wondering is anyone else doing cloth diapers ?

We are looking in to cloth diapers. Getting kind discouraged by the negativity I'm getting from my family. basically saying we can never do it.

I'll be cloth diapering! :) love the benefits of it. We have a great washer and dryer and poop does not phase me in the least.

I had used it on my daughter for about 9 months. My family was against it as well they thought I was crazy but I was completely dedicated and decided to give it a try. However, if you were to cloth diaper I would recommend the toilet sprayer. It helps a lot with the #2’s. I would wash the diapers every other day and also I would disinfect the diapers every two weeks. After a while my hubby got a little fed up with it and we switched back to disposables. But if you really are dedicated to trying it out I recommend it. Whether you decide to stick with it or not it’s truly an experience lol. :-)

LOVE THEM. I have a 20 month old. I started using cloth about 9-10 months ago. I use disposable when we go out and at night. But I love the cloth diapers.

We did for the first 6months and hope to go back to help with potty training. A toilet sprayer is a must as well as a good washer and dryer. I would also recommend making your own laundry soap because you use so much and it’s better for the diapers to not use as many chemicals.

planning on using both cloth and disposables! cloth for when we are at home. I really like the bum genius brand from what I've seen. I'm looking at hybrid shells with inserts.

from a BTDT advisr, i would say i dont recommend, mainly for the sanitary standpoint and all the extra work you would be doing in the name of poop. lol
